I'm so glad you're here!
I'm a queer neurodivergent human, working in the intersection between social justice and dance therapy.
I'm training to become a dance-therapist and my approach is tied to my understanding of healing justice.
I’m not the kind of counsellor who just listens silently and nods. For me, healing happens in spaces of trust and mutual respect, where we show up as ourselves—messy, complex, and full of contradictions. I believe in the power of deep connection and being present for each other’s stories.
My role isn’t to fix you but to walk alongside you.

Dance Therapy Apprenticeship
Neuraum Berlin (2022–2025)
My training at Neuraum Berlin was a transformative experience that deeply shaped me. In the foundational program, I learned through practical self-experience how dance therapy functions as a bridge between body, emotion, and healing. The training days were intense and taught me how movement becomes a language that transcends words. The advanced program allowed me to deepen this path—through refining methods, developing my own therapeutic approach, and exploring how dance therapy can be a tool for transformation.

I completed the 10-month immersive course Liberation Practice Field (LPF), focusing on somatic education, collective trauma, and radical healing as political practice. The course delved into the impacts of colonialism, capitalism, and patriarchy on the body and nervous system, while teaching embodied practices for transformation. Through monthly somatic sessions, practice workshops, and contributions from guests like Ericka Hart and Deepa Iyer, I learned to see healing and social justice as inseparable processes.

In 2021, I co-founded the educational project “Raus aus der Dominanz” (Done with Dominance). This includes trainings, lectures, and educational materials, such as the card set “Raus aus der Dominanz” (“Done with Dominance”), which has been used in schools, universities, and activist groups since 2022. Additionally, I work with permaculture as a method for social justice. In 2024, I led workshops on social permaculture as part of the “Stadtfarmer:innen-Ausbildung” (Urban Farmer Training) by Gemüseheld:innen Frankfurt. The focus lies on creating resilient structures, mindful collaboration, and preventing burnout—through early recognition of conflicts and tensions.
This course with Bayo Akomolafe challenged traditional healing approaches and explored how therapy can be reimagined in a crisis-ridden world. Central themes included the intersections of climate crisis, capitalism, and mental health, as well as posthumanist and ecological perspectives on healing. A defining experience was the critique of psychological systems as “guardians of capitalism” and the question of how healing can succeed as a radical, relational practice.
I benefit from several privileges: I’m white, Dutch-German, and a citizen, so I’ve never faced immigration barriers. I grew up in a middle-class, atheist household with stable housing, food, and healthcare. I’m thin, and my family’s financial situation allowed me to attend a private apprenticeship program.
As a nonbinary person but don’t mind being perceived as female—though this isn’t the case for everyone.
I’m neurodivergent (ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia), which made school incredibly difficult. I`m a high-school dropout and never went to university. I’m also hard of hearing and frequently sick; while not always visibly disabled, these conditions shape my daily life. I’ve struggled with anxiety but had access to therapy, which motivates me to support others in similar situations.

Some facts about me:
My current hyperfocus is collaging, and I have a huge faible for everything green.
I’m often so impatient that I skip ahead in movies and books, and I need to eat almost constantly.
I sometimes motivate people to take cold baths but usually only go halfway myself.
As a kid, I once won a giant pumpkin by guessing its exact weight.
