What if I don’t feel like moving at all?
Yes! Dance counselling integrates movement and talk, but you can choose what feels right. Sometimes sitting quietly, reflecting, or discussing your experiences is part of the healing process.




What if I get overwhelmed during a session?
It’s normal for feelings to arise during sessions. Your counsellor is trained to support you gently and safely. You can always pause or slow down. The sessions are a space to explore emotions with care, not to be overwhelmed by them.


I don’t know how to dance and feel embarrassed about moving my body.
No dance skills are needed! This is about your experience, not about technique or style. Movement can be as simple as a breath, a stretch, or a small gesture. The goal is to connect with your body and emotions in a way that feels safe and supportive.
